An encore of our 2006 production!
A romantic comedy that invokes those periods in our lives when we feel torn; pulled in several directions.
Barney Rusher is the rebellious Black Sheep of his family. His father Charles is the president of a stuffy men’s club his family has headed for generations.
After being banished to the trophy room for rowdy behavior at a Christmas party, he meets Eleanor and it’s love at first sight.
Barney spends the next 30 years trying to convince Eleanor to be his. She, however, guided by her social climbing mother, Myra, marries his conservative and reliable brother, Billy.
Barney’s personal struggle to try and remain friends with Eleanor, earn his father’s acceptance, and appease Myra, brings both moments of humorous wit and touching drama.
